Advantages of Firemac Systems

The fabric used in Firemac systems has been developed to meet the demands of ductworkers. It is extremely strong, while its flexibility means it is easy to apply, usually by one worker. Full training will be given at the point of fabrication by qualified Firemac trainers.

Firemac's systems are in place across the UK with delivery made within 48 hours of order. After application to the ductwork no curing time is required, meaning that fire rated ductwork can be built, delivered and installed within hours without the need to use any third party contractors.

The ease of handling allows the fabric to be simply and quickly applied to any type of duct, whether rectangular or spiral, making it ideal for all types of installation. In most cases the duct will not need to be upgraded to achieve the required fire rating, keeping the installation lightweight and lowering the project cost.

Although the quick delivery times means that it should not be necessary to stock pile the fabric, its storage is simple and requires little space. The fabric is supplied in various widths to suit the needs of different projects, thus cutting down wastage. The fabric is applied offsite to allow for continuity of production. Any plan ammendments can be easily and quickly accomplished. The finished ductwork is then delivered to the site for installation.

The fabric's finish means it blends in with existing ductwork while indicating that it is fire rated.
